For Self-Care

Do you ever feel uncomfortable about yourself and others? That is self-care that you need right there. These are just some tips of staying aware of your mental health & nourishing your social life as well:
It is okay to say no. If something does not feel right, do not do it. If you do not like the food, do not eat it. If you do not have time, just relax instead. If you do not want to hang out, stay home instead. It is okay to say no especially if you feel like you are being forced and low-key manipulated to say yes. Stop being a people-pleaser and recognize that you have choices. Although at first, it will be hard and uncomfortable, but people will and shall understand you. Just be firm when you say no. Remember, you do not always have to defend your choices. You do not always have to explain why & come up with excuses. Do not feel sorry about saying "no". It just means that you are being real.
Say exactly what you mean. Free your mind from restrictions. I mean, if you do filter what you say, filter it in a way that you are not being repressed. Be true to yourself and to other people. If you say something, mean it. If you mean it, say it. Sometimes, it is just not right to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Let go of what you cannot control. There is no use of stressing over something that you cannot change. Accept things and move on. That way, you will not be stuck up in a situation that will feed up your emotions. It is okay to get affected but dwelling on it is clearly not worth it.
Be kind to your physical self. Eat healthy foods, exercise, drink the prescribed number of glasses of water, and get enough sleep. Also, as much as you hate it, you must avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and anything that may affect your body and lifestyle. You just have one life to live; live it out healthily.
Never give up on your dreams. Always find an inspiration -- may it be in a human form, or whatsoever. Staying motivated is already half of the success. Know your path and you will not be distracted. It is okay to fail sometimes, but that shall not keep you from believing in yourself. Keep going. It is never about how long before you attain success anyway; it is about the lessons that made you stay.
Love. Of course, self-care will not be done without this very vital factor. Love yourself and the people around you. Love your surroundings. Love your principles. Love your dreams. Love all that is you.
